Conor holds a 1st class honours BSc in Engineering Science and a 1st class honours ME in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin. Conor was involved in several engineering design projects during this time, including developing and building a proof of concept integrated brushless motor/wheel assembly for the Shell Eco-Marathon. Specialty subjects covered during the study included solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, and fracture/fatigue mechanics.
As part of his Masters, Conor worked with Technology from Ideas, our sister company, to develop a new prototype of our patented hydraulic braking system. This was carried onward to Conor’s thesis and beyond with further testing and development. Conor joined TfI full time in 2013 after the completion of his studies and is currently part of TfI’s technology team.
